Meet The Good Fellas

Reeds
A recent alum of Taunton High School and its music program, Matthew has experience on clarinet, alto saxophone and flute. He has played in big bands, pit orchestras, and wind symphonies, as well as a variety of chamber ensembles. Matthew has participated in several charity concerts in the area and was a four time district player during his time in high school. Matthew currently studies at Bridgewater State University.

Trumpet and Flugelhorn in B Flat
A two time district player, Adam Pereira is one of Taunton’s most experienced youth trumpet players. He is the lead player in both the Taunton High School’s jazz band and wind symphony and has played many solo events such as weddings, church services, and memorials for veterans. As a current senior, Adam looks to study music education in college.

Piano
A well rehearsed pianist, Tyler Poe has been playing for seven years, becoming educated in many techniques and genres. As Taunton High School’s premier pianist, he has played in big bands and symphonic bands, and has performed as an accompanist dozens of times. Tyler is also the in house composer for The Good Fellas, creating tunes that have since been performed in concert. As a current senior, Tyler looks to study piano in college.

Drums
Benjamin Rabel has been part of three jazz bands and has been playing drums for almost eight years. As the drummer in Taunton High School’s jazz band, he has experience playing a wide variety of jazz genres. Ben is also the leader of the French horn section at Taunton High School, and has performed in dozens of concerts, pit orchestras, and wind ensembles.

“The Good Fellas” is a four person jazz combo band comprised of talented, passionate musicians who bring the magic of live jazz to any venue.

Music For Any Event

Every Occasion is elevated by live music, and we are well versed in dozens of genres and playing styles. Upbeat, catchy, tunes such as "There Will Never be Another You" are perfect for bringing energy to weddings and parties, and are sure to make the audience tap their feet. Need something a little more laid back? Slow, melodic charts like "Misty" are perfect background music to mingle, dine, and chat over. No matter the audience, no matter the atmosphere, we are guaranteed to have the jazz you need.
